Dragon Boating is the ultimate team sport with 22 people required to make up one crew. It is the perfect opportunity for companies, social and sporting groups to try something a bit different. Coporate regattas
Dragon Boating is increasing in popularity through out the corporate sector. A sport built on teamwork, dragon boating offers corporations an ideal opportunity to build workplace relations away from the office.
Employees combine teamwork and fun with the added element of an adrenalin charged challenge.
There are four main coporate regattas on the DBNSW race calendar:
- DAA Festival (Dragons Abreast Australia corporate and community fundraising event)
- City of Sydney Chinese New Year Corporate Event
- NSW Corporate Games
- Ryde Rivers Festival
Corporate training
Typically, corporate teams are organised by members of the company, who submit their team entry with DBNSW or the event organiser. Training may be organised through DBNSW, who assign qualified coaches from sports paddling teams in NSW. Corporate teams exist on a per-regatta basis - although your company may want to keep its team together and train all season long!For more information please Email us.
Dragon Boat Racing - NSW Coporate Games 2011
Diabetes Australia-NSW is pleased to announce the 2011 NSW Corporate Games will beheld in Sydney from March 17th to March 20th. Dragon boat racing will be held on Sunday March 20th.

Some FAQ’s about dragon boating:
- You will get wet
- You are unlikely to capsize but need to be able to swim 50m
- You will need shoes. They will get wet.
