Strategy

We are pleased to share the Dragon Boats NSW 2025–2027 Strategic Plan, building on the strong foundations established over recent years and setting a clear direction for the continued growth and development of dragon boating across New South Wales.

With membership and participation remaining strong, our focus for 2025–2027 is on sustainable growth, stronger clubs and greater opportunities for people to participate, develop and progress within our sport.

Across the next two years, there will be an increased focus on club health and development, participation and membership growth, coaching and athlete pathways, regional development, partnerships and innovation. We will continue working closely with our clubs and members to better understand their needs and provide the resources, opportunities and support required for long-term success.

Our 2025–2027 Strategy is about building a stronger, more connected and sustainable sport, while ensuring dragon boating in NSW continues to evolve, grow and provide rewarding experiences for everyone involved.
