The successful running of a dragon boat regatta very much depends on the dedication of volunteers. There can never be enough volunteers for events - as the sport keeps drawing interest from the community and grows at its current pace, our regattas keep getting bigger and more volunteers are needed.
Volunteers for DBNSW regattas are always needed for both Sydney and regional events. Sydney based events are usually held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith, Darling Harbour, Dobroyd, Ryde, and Roseville. Regional regattas are held in locations such as Nowra, Mylsetom, Grafton, Orange, Tacoma, Jindabyne, Shellharbour, Taree and Coffs Coast.
It doesn't matter whether you live in the city or regional NSW, volunteering for DBNSW is a great way to meet new people in different parts of NSW.
