Bank St Working Group

DBNSW is calling for expressions of interest in the newly formed Bank St Working Group with up to five positions available. This group will be responsible for advising on, leading and/or assisting with projects surrounding the redevelopment and use of the Bank St site, which may include:
- Meeting with Government agencies to discuss and negotiate the future direction of Dragon Boating at Bank St
- Assist in the design of the redevelopment and the creation of the new Bank St Park
- Lobbying government groups and key stakeholders to ensure Dragon Boating remains at Bank St and provided with the space and facilities to operate successfully
- Communication with government groups, key stakeholders, clubs and local residents
- Grant writing and or submissions related to funding that may be required for the Bank St site
- Public Relations to ensure Dragon Boating remains front of mind and continues to have a home at Bank St
- Regular updates to Bank St Clubs, ensuring they remain informed and can support the working group and DBNSW’s position around Bank St
- Support in identifying areas DBNSW can be relocated to during construction of the new Bank St Park, including contracting for new space and facilitation of temporary relocation
