Dragon Boat Community Welcomes Newest Club!

Published Tue 09 Aug 2016

DBNSW is happy to welcome its newest affiliated club, The Sudu Dragons!

EXCERPT FROM SUDU...

"The Sudu Dragon Boat Club newly formed in 2016, the Chinese Year of the Monkey.

The Monkey symbolizes strength, adaptability, agility, wisdom and active characteristics.

An attitude adopted by “Sudu” (meaning “speed” in Chinese)

Focused on creating a positive community based sports club, for all ages, genders and physical capabilities in the Illawarra Region.

Only 80 km from Sydney, it is the gateway to the South.

Revitalising Dragon Boating, with a main focus on family participation and junior development programs.

The club is an active supporter of the emotional and physical well-being of its members in the community.

On the fun side, supporting corporate and community regattas, there is always some kind of social festivity happening with fellow paddlers.

So we train hard, laugh loud and love our coffee!

With training scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

There are sufficient timelines for competitive training and/or social paddling.

A great way to stay fit and make new friends.
